Alex Trujillo is one of the most esteemed guitarists in the music scene of Denver, Colorado today. Utilizing over a decade of touring and performing experience, Trujillo has developed a laid back and alluring guitar style. He has performed and recorded with Grammy award winner Isaiah “Ikey” Owens (The Mars Volta, Jack White), Dominic Davis (Jack White), Brandon Owens (Lauryn Hill), Matthew Embree (Dispatch), John Macy (The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), Matt Wignall (Cold War Kids), Dave Cooley (Ziggy Marley) & others.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Music from the University of Colorado. Alex has over 15 years of teaching experience & enjoys working with all skill levels from beginner through advanced. Students can expect a fun, laid back, comfortable atmosphere when taking lessons. Available for private or group sessions. Styles of music include Rock, Country, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Classical as well as Theory, Improvisation, Composition, Notation, and Ear Training. Alex understands that every student is unique and caters his teaching style accordingly to keep each student progressing and having fun!
